Musical Directors

Robyn Sevastos
Robyn is Music Director of London Opera Productions, Llantilio Crossenny Festival, Sevenoaks Philharmonic Society, Bromley Philharmonic Choir; assistant Music Director of Kentish Opera and is a Professor at Blackheath Conservatoire of Music. She has performed extensively as a piano soloist and coached and accompanied a wide range of singers and instumentalists here and abroad. Robyn has conducted a large and diverse selection of the choral and operatic repertoire, and has performed at many of the leading London concert venues incuding The Royal Albert Hall, the Barbican, Fairfield Halls and the O2 Arena. She has even performed at Sandringham for HRH The Prince Of Wales. Robyn graduated with first class honours in Music from Melbourne University and has diplomas in piano accompaniment and performance from Guildhall and the Royal College of Music.

Mairead Sheerin
Since completing the Opera Programme at the Royal College of Music in 2001 Mairead has been a professional singer. She has sung at Glyndebourne Opera, done a world tour as a soprano soloist with English Concert and has recently been performing her recital series “The Mother of all Recitals” and “Moore and More..” in England and Ireland. Mairead also teaches singing on a one-to-one and group basis. She has coached amateur and semi-professional voice ensembles. On a voluntary basis she has founded a Neighbourhood Choir in her local Community and runs singing groups for children and pre-schoolers.

Laura June Barnes
Laura combines a career as a busy session musician with teaching. She teaches courses in Directing Music Ensembles, Singing Styles and Performance at the London College of Music. She teaches singing at Vocal Tech Contempory Music School and at three London Secondary Schools. She is the Music Director of The London College of Music Gospel Choir, the Tech Music School Choir and the Crown Woods School Gospel Choir. Laura was the vocal coach on the Russian version of X-Factor. As a singer she has done work for ITV, BBC Radio, Children In Need and various commercial recording studios; most recently the promotional song for the London Olympics. She has also performed in the West End. She has a first class BMUS from Vocal Tech in Popular Music Performance.  Laura is also a pianist.

kelly Kelly Fraser BMus Hons, ATCL
Kelly graduated with a First Class Music Degree from the London College of Music and was awarded a silver medal of Performance Excellence by The Worshipful Company of Musicians. She has obtained Distinctions in singing and performance from Trinity College, London. Kelly has sung with various artists at some of London's most prestigious venues and has performed for Her Majesty The Queen. She put together a 40 strong Gospel Choir for a performance at The Royal Festival Hall, and has provided lead and backing vocals for the BBC programme "The Choir'.
kate Kate Bishop
Kate is a classically trained Mezzo Soprano, a Music Leader of The National Youth Choir of Great Britain, a recording artist, song writer and singing teacher. As a soloist she has sung The Armed Man under Karl Jenkins at The Royal Festival Hall, Hansel und Gretel at Sadler’s Wells and much of the sacred music repertoire. She has sung with the Raymond Gubbay Chorus, Classical Opera Company and Carl Rosa Opera Company. Opera’s have included Madame Butterfly, Tosca, Carmen and The Marriage of Figaro at venues including the Royal Albert Hall and the O2. Kate was voted runner up in Classic FM’s Most Wanted list singing Take Me Home under her recording artist name “Kate Corrigan”. Kate sings in the choir of St Augustine’s South Kensington, vocal groups The Madrigirls and Viva La Bop and is the Music Director of an Acappella close harmony group which she founded for talented teenagers. Kate is a graduate of the Royal College of Music.

Julian Collings

Julian is a conductor, organist and pianist. He is Musical Director of Corporate Voices and Ad Libitum Chamber Choir, Director of Music at St Cyprian's Church Clarence Gate and works with several amateur choirs including East London Chorus, RSCM Southern Cathedral Singers and West Barnes Singers. A graduate of Christ's College, Cambridge, Julian has made several recordings with Christ's College Choir as organist and as part of the Svyati Duo recorded two discs of music for organ and cello.

Darron Moore
Darron is a Conductor and Singer. He has sung with the Royal Opera House, Holland Park Opera, English Touring Opera, Opera Brava, Garden Opera, Wexford Festival Opera, Opera de Lyon, Opera de Monte Carlo and  London Voices, among others. He has given over 200 performances as a soloist all over the world. He has taught singing at Queens University Belfast and held a Professorship of Singing at Trinity College Of Music. He studied Music at the Royal Northern College of Music and the Birmingham Conservatoire and has won various prizes including, the John Ireland Song Prize, Clare Rose Bowl For Opera, BMI Singing Prize and Conaldir Award for Singing. Darron is also a pianist.
Andy Nicholson
Andy is a singer and experienced Musical Director. He sings with The Royal Opera House Chorus. As one of London Voices, he sang on the sound tracks of Star Wars and Lord of the Rings. As a Music Director he has worked with professional and amateur groups of all ages singing everything from plainchant to pantomime. Andy held a Lay Clerks Role with the Choir of St. Mary’s Edinburgh before studying at the Royal College Of Music. Andy is also a pianist.

Paul Martyn West
Paul is a busy singing and voice coach. He has a large teaching practice that embraces amateurs and professionals. He leads vocal training days for various singing groups, including The London Docklands Singers, Putney Choral Society and Truro Choral Society. As a principal tenor he has given recitals at many Music Festivals and for Music Societies up and down the country. He has also sung in a principal role with many choirs and choral Societies. He has several recordings to his name. Paul has also worked as a voice coach in industry. Most recently he has conducted workshops and performances of Faure’s Requiem, Mozart’s Requiem and Brahm’s Requiem with large amateur choirs.
ian-brandon Ian Brandon
Ian is a musical director, composer, arranger, singer and teacher. He holds the posts of music director and vocal coach at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts, and teaches at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and the Institute of Contemporary Music. Alongside his teaching Ian is much in demand as a musical director, leading young musicians in shows including Oliver, A Chorus Line, Wicked and many more, in venues as diverse as The Young Vic, The Bloomsbury Theatre, Dr. Johnson's House and the Edinburgh Fringe. Ian also writes and performs regularly with his musical cabaret group ' Scales of the Unexpected' specializing in hysterical close harmony vocal arrangements, throughout London and beyond.
